For many this is a cult classic from the 90s. A very unique sound, Neutral Milk Hotel drew a lot of people who liked distortion and interesting instrumentation. It also had some very confusing lyrics and mixed themes all in one place.

Although the band did not last long after this album, it left a mark onthe music loving world.

The best part of this vinylis the artwork, sporting some custom edits to classic penny arcade postcards by one artist and beautiful line art by another on the insert.

These pressings are hard to tell apart, but this 2009 edition sounds good and is clean of pops and cracks.

I am a big fan of this album and love the unique sound. With so many layers of instruments, there really is nothing like it.

From a zanzithophone, saws, a wandering genie, to a flugelhorn and pipes, this album has it all.
